The Sunday School
The Sunday School Department of Grace Baptist Church, Amakom exists to provide every member with a solid foundation in the Word of God. Each Sunday, the department organizes structured Bible classes where participants are guided into deeper study, discussion, and understanding of Scripture. These classes offer the kind of in-depth exploration of biblical topics that may not always be possible during a regular worship service or sermon.
Our Class Structure
To ensure effective learning and meaningful engagement, Sunday School classes are organized using several criteria, including:
Age groups – children, youth, teens and adults
Areas of residence – The adult classes are organised by area of residence. It aims to help members connect with others in their local communities
Levels of Christian maturity – from new believers to seasoned disciples
Other relevant needs or ministry groupings
This structure allows members to learn in a context that best supports their spiritual growth and fosters strong Christian fellowship.
Open to All Members
Every member of Grace Baptist Church is automatically a part of the Sunday School. Whether you are new to the faith or have walked with Christ for many years, Sunday School offers a welcoming, enriching environment for spiritual development.
Leadership and Administration
The Sunday School Ministry is led by the Sunday School Superintendent, who oversees the organization, coordination, preparation, and conduct of all Sunday School activities. Guided by biblical principles and the mission of the church, the Superintendent works with teachers and leaders to ensure that each class is effective, engaging, and Christ-centered.
